Crosair value ram with chaintech vnf3-250 help!!!!!

I can't run this together. When i try to install windows xp it give me this errror
0x0000008c on blue screen. I have tried my sister ram it works fine at 333mhz 2t. BUt when i put the crosair ram at my sister motherboard it works absolutely fine. Problems !!!!!!!!!!!!

also when i try to boot up in hDD first device it sais after the post
Verifiying DMI pool...... Update sucess.
And then everything stops. I get this post error no 96 which in the manual says:
1.Build MP table
2. Build &update ESCD
3. SEt CMOS century 19h or 20h
4. LOad cmos time into dos timer tick
5. Build msirq routing table.

I do not know what the **** this menas so please help me out here. BTw i am running bios 21/9(or 27/9) and this is the crosair ram Corsair (VS512MB400C3) 512MB, DDR400 / PC3200, non-ECC, 184 DIMM, unbuffered, CL3.

You can test the RAM using Memtest. You should check that the RAM s running at CAS3, rather than CAS2.5.

You can also try resetting the BIOS.

i haven't got a floppy drive is there a way to do it through windows

the mem works perfect in slot 3 but not in 1 and 2. Do you think i should return the mobo or a bios update
