Wont formal floppys

I bought a pack of 10 floppy discs from maplins, they were TDK. It said that they were preformatted. I wanted to take the files from my old win95 pc to my new pc, i put the files from my old pc onto the floppys, and tryed to put them on my xp system. But xp said that the floppys were not formatted and would not copy the files onto my new pc. I gave up and forgot. Now i need 6 floppys for xp boot discs, but when i try to format them it says it cant. What could be causing this concidering they are new? How can i fix this?

the 'the disk in drive A is not formatted would you like to format is now' i THINK means that the floppy drive is bit up the left, try using the drive from the win95 machine in he xp machine

on the other hand, if you really do want formal floppies, then youll have to get him a tuxedo, i know a nice custom tailor PM me i you still want a formal one and ill give you his address
