    E-mail Retrieving

    Hey all,
recently lost normal access to my desktop's master hard disk, which is a pain in the arse in itself, but it causes a huge problem in that there are some e-mails on the disk which I HAVE to access asap for work reasons. I can get to the disk via an external caddy, but can't seem to locate the files i need and can't run outlook express since its not installed on my laptop (I know, i know, i'm dumb for not keeping things backed up better). I just need to know where outlook express inbox e-mails are stored & how i can access them because i really dont seem able to work it out. Sorry to be such a nonce, & thanks to anyone who puts me out of my misery ,
    FJ

Go into search from the start menu, click on all files & folders, open the advanced options, type in .dbx you should then see yor missing files providing that you have not deleted them.
