mp3 tagging
hi,
i've just been given 4 cd's of random music (mp3's). some are tagged, some aren't. i'm in the process of tagging them now (ie right click>preferences>and then entering artist title etc(is there a better way of doing this?)). once i've done this i want to play them on my computer and transfer them to my iriver mp3 player. i was just wondering if there was anyway to organise them into folders, ie artist, album without having to make all the folders manually. is there a programme that recognises the tags and creates the relevant folders for me?
also aside from this, why is winamp reguarded higher than WMP?
Cheers for any help.
Chris

I while ago I installed half a dozen or so ID3 taggers and rippers to see which was the best. I preferred CD'N'GO at www.download.com

am using the godfathert and very good it is too!
just to follow up though, is there any programme out there which will create folders (and sub folders) for the mp3's as well as tag them.
any help much appreciated!

itunes has an organise tunes option which will sort your files into folders etc if tagged correctly.
For tagging I highly recommend http://www.mp3tag.de/en/index.html
Can convert tags to filenames, lookup internet for possible matches (untagged mp3's), supports WMA, AAC etc
