    Computer wont turn on

Hey, im just posting to see if anyone has any useful advice for me.

The situation is the other day i was on my computer and it turned itself off, after this i have not been able to turn it on.

I've looked around a few other websites and they suggest it may be the power pack needs replacing. i did not have any surge protection so i feel this may be the cause of it.

The other problem is i bought the system from Carrera, who have now gone into administration and been taken over so i am not sure where i stand with my warranty (which i believe was labour only)

    Any help would be appreciated.

so when you press your on button it does not turn on right well some of my mates have had pcs from dell ect most of the time somehow the "real" button inside got poped out of its place but it still seemed like the button was moving but it was making no contact with the "real" one so it would not turn on and you can sort that out easy by opening up the case and putting the "real" one back in its place

Don't know if this works, but if the button looks fine, find the pins the button's connected to and short them, this will set a small signal which I think goes through the PSU control wire turning it on. That will tell you if your PSU is dead.

    Angry Only gets worse

Could be worse, my PC is dead since new from carrera, tried to reject it and get a refund - went into administration. I thought I would claim through my credit card, they say it's not looking good as I still have the hardware, aint life a bitch.
