What OS are you using? Are you sure the card is in properly?
-
It may show up under other devices in device manager, especially if no drivers are installed. Are there any yellow exclamation marks in the device manager at all?
-
What is the error message when you try and install the Catalyst drivers?
-
In device manager, right click the computer icon at right at the top and click "scan for hardware changes"
Do you get anything?

Ok, thanks for all the replies,
The situation has changed a little from last night in that and now when the windows xp bars come across the screen the pc just reboots, tryed safe mode with the same thing happening :( .
My computer currently has two hard drives in it, each with an install of xp on them, one IDE 4GB which im running now and one SATA 200GB drive which now wont boot up.
On the IDE I've got "Display Adapters" in device manager and everything is working fine.
But I really dont know what to do with the other one now it wont even boot.
As for the questions u all asked...
OS: Windows XP with SP2 Slipstreamed.
I remember a yellow exclamation on NVIDIA nForce2 AGP Host to PCI Bridge.
I did scan for changes as well, but nothing came up. I also checked that the plug and play service was running, which it was.
EDIT: Hope im making any sense :(

Have you installed the motherboards drivers correctly, this could give you a yellow exclamation mark on NVIDIA nForce2 AGP Host to PCI Bridge. This would explain why your card is not showing up in device manager. Try reinstalling your motherboards chipset drivers. Should hopefully then pick up your graphics card.

Uninstall your old graphics card drivers first. That way, when you reboot, it'll detect a graphics card (the new one), and install an appropriate driver. :)
-
NVIDIA nForce2 AGP Host to PCI Bridge isn't an actual graphics card driver it's part of the chipset and if it's not properly installed i won't correctly recognise the graphics card you have fitted.
-
I never said it was egg, I meant that he uninstalls the drivers for his old graphics card before he installs his new one, not the Nforce2 bit. ;)
-
Hey,
i sorted the problem now by reinstalling windows and installing the latest nforce drivers.
the graphics drivers xp installed itself work fine, so im happy.
Just one question, does anyone know if the new cat drivers from ati still support the older radeons (9100).
Everythings working great now btw :D
Thanks

Yeah I'd imagine it does support 9100 m0dm0.
Good to see everythings working as it should! :)
