Help needed installing chipset drivers?

Hi can anyone give me some help with installing my chipset drivers. I have downloaded the relevant drivers which are in a zip format. But do i instal via device manager or are the drivers self exe. ? Cheers in advance!

Erm, I'd imagine you would extract the zip and then find an exe, usually called "setup.exe" or similar which should guide you through the process.

Erm...That might sound really easy to you being SENIOR but as i am a relative noob and never done it before, i feel i neede to ask! So less of the Sarcasim!

Ok

Well assuming you are running xp, extract the zip file to a folder and you should see a collection of files in that folder something like this...



There should be a file similar to the one i highlighted there, just open that file and run through the wizard..

btw which motherboard are you trying to install these onto?
