Overprint DVD-Rs

Hey guy, didnt know if this was the right place, but i couldnt find a forum for media, so I bunged it in here.....mods feel free to move if its wrong tho.


Im in a bit of a dial emma, buying DVD-R media, there are so many types, unbranded start at like 10p a disk and good ones, like ritek special dyes can be upto 70p a disk, even in 50 packs

So to my question, does the brand matter that much ? Ive had unbranded before and theyve all been fine, but are there any major issues? Especially with overprints ?

Saw 100 pack of overprint DVD-R 8 speeds for 12.99 from an online comp, and there a blinding deal, but is there a high failure rate with overprints? Or do they suck ?

Have used as well without any problems, just be aware they can be slightly more dificult to writ on with a pen.

Will a fat black perm marker be ok?
