I have had a Creative SB Live Value 1024 (I think this is what its called) for a good few years - it does the job well! Recently I purchased a new IQ-Eye case and on the top of this case there are USB ports and mic in / headphones out etc...
I have managed to get the USB's working no probs but I have no idea what to do with the mic and headphones - I know they can fit to the mother board but then the sound will not be as good.

Q: Can I fit the 'front panel connectors' to the Soundblaster or fit them to the motherboard and still use the SB???

If anyone knows anything about sound and cards etc then I would appreciate the help, thanks. Or even a good website - the Creative one is not that helpful!

btw I have a MSI KT3 Ultra Mo'Board.
