Like the title suggests, I would like to put in an avatar but i'm not sure how to do it. Also I want a signature picture but i'm not sure how to do that either. Thanks, John.

Well, you need to create a picture in photoshop (if you're rich), or GIMP (if you're not). Then upload it onto the internet (there's a link in my sig for this), then when you try to edit your sig in your user CP area, do this:
[IMG]www.thisiswherethepicis.co.uk/picture.jpg[/IMG]
Replace the middle bit with a link to you picture. As you can see, I haven't done an avatar yet, but I'm sure it'll be pretty similar. It's not hard to work out. Just give it a go, and if it doesn't work you can take it down. Easy!
You need 500 posts for an avatar, so you can't get one yet.
