Nvidia N force 2 mobo but got a ati x800

Hi im just wondering i have got a motherboard with the n force 2 chipset but as a gift i got a Ati x800 will it work or not

PCIE or AGP, if it AGP then yes but if PCIE then no

Its AGP but i have installed the card but the agp speed is off and wont go to 4x or 8x any idea what i can do to get this working correctly??

Have you set the AGP speed to 8 in the Bios? I guess you've already uninstalled and re-installed the latest catalyst drivers? Have you updated the Nforce chipset drivers as well? Aslo go Start > Run > type smartgart, then select re-test

Have you installed the agp GARt drivers that came with your motherboard. Also have you insatlled the ati catalyst drivers?
