Mouse cursor on multiple displays issue
So, since reinstalling Windows last week, I've been getting some really odd issues from my mouse cursor. I've tried Googling the problem but I can't find a fix. Hopefully someone in here will know what to do.
What happens is, after the PC has either been put to sleep or the displays have turned off from no activity, when I come back, the mouse cursor can only be seen on the screen it's on. Trying to move the mouse over to the other display will have it halt at the mid-point but allow me to carry an invisible mouse over to the other monitor that I can use.
The "mouse" can highlight and click buttons and behaves as normal, it's just invisible and is stuck at the border.
Does anyone have any clue what I can do to fix this please?
For details, I'm using two different monitors with the same vertical resolution. (2560 x 1440 + 3440 x 1440).
I'm using a Razer Mamba Hyperflux + Firefly mouse with the latest software version installed.
My Windows installation is fully up to date and on the 1903 release.
I'm fully up to date on my NVIDIA GPU drivers.
Re: Mouse cursor on multiple displays issue
Just some clarification, Is it actually going to sleep all the way or halting just prior, or is it when you wake it up it's unable to fully wake?
Re: Mouse cursor on multiple displays issue
The sleep function of the PC appears to be fine. The system shuts down and the fans stop and it starts back up as quickly as it should, it's only the mouse that is an issue. The cursor becomes stuck on the display that it wakes onto.
Re: Mouse cursor on multiple displays issue
Have you tried using the mouse without the Razer software installed, so without support for all the whizz bang features but so the mouse works on basic Windows drivers?
And does it happen with an alternate mouse or just no mouse connected at all?
In the early days of Roccat their software would interfere with everything, I got fed up and stopped using the software, but the mouse was fine without it. I just couldn't setup the advanced features
Re: Mouse cursor on multiple displays issue
I think I might have fixed my own issue. On this screen, they were hugely mis-aligned, but within the Windows equivalent page they were lined up as they should be. So I've lined them up within the NVIDIA software and everything seems to be ok.

Re: Mouse cursor on multiple displays issue
Ah, thanks for that. I had the same issue, which I was blaming on having Mouse Without Borders (handy for multiple rigs, btw, anyone) but it wasn't happening on the transition between computers. So thanks for the update. ... I checked and had the same issue, which had been driving me somewhat insane.
Cheers
