    BIOS Not Saving

I have a Gigabyte AX370 Gaming 5 and lately its not saving the bios settings, for instance I have XMP Profile 1 set and AMD virtulisation turned on(sorry can't remember what its called in the bios), when I put the computer to sleep its fine but when powered down it will restart and reset the bios.

I of course initially suspected the battery but having changed that the problem remains, and the reset cmos jumper is normal.

    Any ideas?

    Re: BIOS Not Saving

Is it just those two settings that get reset or is it everything? And by CMOS jumper being normal, I assume the pins are not bridged and clean?

Any changes or recent BIOS updates? And any Gigabyte mobo software installed which may be toggling things?

    Re: BIOS Not Saving

Everything was default anyway so the only thing I have changed in the bios is those 2 settings, the time and date does not get reset. Pins are clean and normal

There was a recent bios update a month ago, I am guessing its possible it is that, but with the new AGESA update coming soon I may wait and update the bios again then rather than rolling back.

Only gigabyte software installs controls the LED lighting.

    Re: BIOS Not Saving

Looked at the bios further and its reverted to F31, it was F40!! Looks like the backup bios has kicked in somewhere, hmm. Have updated it again to the latest version which is F42 and will see what happens
