Bah X850XT saying power is not connected.

Putting a nice new system together for my bro.
    Coolermaster 450 Watt PSU.
    Abit 3rd Eye i925 Mobo.
    P4 3.4

However tried everything I can think of but the sodding thing will just not boot properly. Getting power not connected to the video card, when it blatently is. Tried several different different molexs into the supplied wire converter.
Disconnected all drives to see if it was a power problem.

Unfortunately I don't have another PCI-E system I can put in to test, so at a bit of a loss of what else I can really do with this system.

Anybody share any light or do you think its a simple RMA job.

had this before with a 2.4ghz P4 and a radeon 9800pro. was working perfectly then when i turned it off and back on, it kept saying power not connected. I just played around the power cables, and reseated the card and it seemed ok.

I take it this was the first time you've booted that machine up with that card, so the card is completly untested?

Unfortunately the entire system is completely untested, motherboard, psu and graphics. So no idea where the problem could actually lie. Which will making tech support fun.

try using a card from your system to start with, if it works then you can give the xt another try and then if it still doen't work you know where the prob lies. Try testing each components in say your machine for example.
