So I currently sit at around 20-30 fps whilst indoors and 15-20 fps whilst moving outside. There is not an excessive amount of mobs or structures. I have had this system working on minecraft for over 6 months where i have always run over 200fps on fast in mob farms. I am currently getting no system utilisation in game as gpu sits at >20% and cpu >30% with a few other applications in the background (I have tried just mc with no gains) I have done a re installation on another drive checked for any new driver updates, allocating more ram and other mc versions. Non of which has improved the experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sisters got the same problem. its to do with the OpenGL support in the drivers, ATI just doesnt have proper support for the latest versions of Java minecraft, so it runs very slowly compared to nvidias.

theyve not had proper support for a few years. you'll be waiting a while.

she did say there was a 'high priority' notice somewhere on the ATI forums mentioning minecraft and proper driver support so they are working on it, supposedly. but its not worked properly since 1809 Win 10.

had to turn 'animated textures' or some such off at one point to stop the fps running in slideshow mode in some of the snapshots, others work better and get 200+fps, other she gets 20. its entirely random.
