You could try using Memtest. If that is fine, try running Prime95 for a few hours, and see if it finds any errors.

Are you overclocking by any chance, I see you have XMS4000 ram is all..If Overclocked that bit too far and you may well see the instability as driver IRQ stops.

Looks similar to this for Server 2003.

Upgrade to SP2 should fix it.

    You say you've recently formatted?

Check device manager and tell us which computer HAL type Windows has installed.

restarted the cmos got rid of the msg, weird why it did that, and i instaled sp2, no blue screens scince, shuts down ok now as well.

Only porblem now is booting, had to unplug my storage slave hd today to be able to boot using the master hd, v gay, then to find the adsl modem wasnt instaled properly, like the drivers where instaled on the slave hd... even gayer.

So after sorting that out and reinstaling it , im finaly on the net again, but i havent yet tryd shuting down and pluging the slave hd back in.. when i do i get select which xp to boot (hd 1 or 2, cept it dosent state which is which) go with the top thinkin thats the master and it has the little xp loadin, then monitor goes standby dunna whats wrong

    What firewall are you using?
Looks to me like the drivers for your modem are the problem. Find the latest version.
Have you got an old copy of windows on your slave device?

Im using Agnitum Outpost firewall pro, and modem drivers are from a cd which is oldskool, when instalin the xp ones from it there not verified , so u get that OMG CONTINUE? msg come up. and on the slave drive it was formated, dont think i put xp on, but if i did, its xp with no service pack as it was brought and formated at that time.

It's your firewall causing it. Either upgrade to the latest version or ditch it and switch to another one.
