Quick question for Fractal Meshify Case Owners

A quick question for anyone using a Fractal 'Meshify' case, and also using the built-in PWM fan hub for their case fans.

I'm using the Meshify 2 case myself, & I've got the PWM case fans plugged into the built-in fan hub, with the hub itself plugged into a PWM fan header on my motherboard. The problem I've got, is that the motherboard reports the fan speed as being zero rpm for the hub. From looking at various videos of PC builds on Youtube, the motherboard should report the speed of the case fans in the BIOS. The other problem is that case fans are spinning up and slowing down over an interval of about every 5 minutes, even when the PC is idle, and even after setting a completely 'flat' (minimum rpm) fan curve in the bios. I Just wondered whether any other Meshify owners have encountered a similar problem? I don't mind the fans spinning up if I'm doing something intensive like rendering a video or gaming, but having them spin up & slow down every few minutes when the PC is idle is really irritating!

The way I understand it FAN 1 is what is used to report the fan speed. I am sure it is but that is definitely a 4-pin fan connected?

Yeah, I think I may have the cpu cooler connected to the wrong header, which is why it's not reporting the rpm of the case fans...

Maybe as from what I understand only FAN1 is used to report the fan speed
