(very)simple html scripting

right i need to be able to do something but i dont know how

i need a drop down menu of two items: Teacher and pupil

pupil will send straight to a pupil area

Teacher will require some sort of generic password to get into a teacher area

any help???

I know how to do a drop down box but that's it would like to see the answer though, but I think it will require a script of some kind
