is this possible? (sn45g board in sn41g2 case)

    hi there

aint been here much lately as ive bin busy moving house but now that im getting sorted "slowly" im wanting to start modding again.

i was wondering if any1 here has succesfully put an sn45g mo,board into an sn41g2 case and vice versa?

reason i ask is ive got an xp2500 (1 ov the gooduns) in my sn41g2 at the minute but nomatter what i try i cant get it to run stable @ 2.2ghz (400mhz fsb) (its 1 ov the first sn41g2,s) and i dont want to renew or update it as ive customised it too much now and i want to keep it the way it is and hopefully just transplant the sn45g board into it!

can any1 advise on this please,my specs are as follows:

    sn41g2 (early model)
athlon xp2500 barton @ stock speeds
    2x512mb corsair ddr400 (matched pair)
    radeon 9800pro @stock speeds

    any info much appreciated thanx.

    mic.

I haven't tried it myself but I used to own a sn45g and if IRC it has the same footprint as the sn41g2. if you've got them there; there is no harm in having a look.
