    Simulation on burning

Can anyone tell me why certain brands of discs will allow a simulation ( RiDisc 8xDVD+R ), whereas some won't ( Verbatim 8x and 16x DVD+R ) when I'm burning in Nero ?

Oddly enough, the RiDisc fail to burn at all, the Verbatim pass every time

I have found that if you burn at 4x or less on the + discs you will find that you have less fail

I don't understand why I can't run a simulation burn on the RiDisc, but I can on the Verbatim, though.

simulation is pretty useless anyways now that all drives have buffer underrun prevention technology. Don't worry about it.
