    Booting problems on upgraded machine

This morning I upgraded my friends machine using the following parts:

    Gigabyte 8S655FX-L motherboard
    9800 pro graphics card
    1GB (2x512MB) 3200 RAM

However, when I turn it on, there is no signal sent to the monitor, or the keyboard/mouse. I dont hear any beeps, but can hear it counting the ram (or whatever that counting fast clicking sort of noise is), and it tries to access the hard drives and cd drives. Is the motherboard dead, or could it be something else like the power supply? It certainly sounds busy enough for it not to be too terminal.

Any suggesstions apprecated. I'll probably be back up there next week to try and get it working.

    Tried resetting the CMOS?

All the motherboards I've used give one beep if it's booting up normally. If it's not beeping at all, I suspect either the motherboard or PSU, otherwise I'd expect some beeps.

Bios jumper may actually be set to clear and stopping it from posting. Just powers up and nothing else happens at all. Had a Gigabyte board that done that a few years back when I still had my Geforce 2 and Duron 750
