If I do something simple on my new PC like change the screensaver it reboots. I don't even have time to click on apply or anything. It's a new build with Win Xp SP2. AMD 2400 CPU and 512mb ram. Anyone have any ideas?

Some hardware problem - CPU or memory at a guess
actually i've seen a friends pc with a similar problem - they were unable to change screensaver as the control panel just closed itself when they tried.
it turned out that they had a trojan on their computer that was borking things up.
you could try giving your machine a good scan to see if that helps?
Is it the same screen saver each time? Could be a currupt file maybe or graphics driver issue maybe?
