XP beeping

okay .... i've had this problem since built my machine,

While on desktop or on any application... for some weird reason XP justs beeps at me.. it's like bout every 10-15 mins or so....

now , i have Sticky Keys disabled (because it's annoyign when tryign 2 play a game and the sticky keys settings come up and your game minimizes)

i've hit the google,and al li could find is stuff about beeps in BIOS and i dont get any...

could this beeping be something to do with my RAID settings,because i know that my Nforce RAID utility hasnt picked up my HDD upon Raid....

any suggestions ?

I had this. Then I remembered I had a temperature warning set up in my BIOS. It's supposed to beep when your CPU reaches a certain temperature. Mine just beeped at me anyway :/

Is it the internal speaker beeping or is it actually coming through your external speakers/headphones?

external speakers....

i dont get any other beeps on the Mobo or the inside speaker...

the only other time i get a breep, is when i boot the pc up and the BIOS "ok" beeps

I remember that this was one symptom of a particular worm infection, the name escapes me though, sorry. Having you tried Googling the behaviour, or swept for viruses etc?

i've done a Spyware + virus scan with 3 different providers... and hit the google... and i get from google is internal beeping,not external.... and nothing has been found on virus+ spyware front
