    strange pagefile prob

When I set up my new drive a while ago, I created seperate partitions for diff things(temp files, pagefile etc). I changed my pagefile location to ensure it ran on the partition specifically created for it. Just noticed that I have pagefile.sys on my pagefile partition as I'd expect. Also noticed I have a pagefile.sys on c drive. Does this mean I have 2 pagefiles? Why would I have this one on c drive when I set sys up to have pagefile on sep partition?
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.

Have you looked in the setting to see if it says you have more than one active page file?

It's saying there is only 1 pagefile and that is on drive f(my pagefile partition)

Sound like the system just hasnt auto deleted your old ones, try deleting them and see if it lets you, if they were in use they'd be locked

that's sorted it thanks, just deleted the one on c drive so it can't have been active. Also freed up 1.5 gb of space. Cheers.
