PC Wont Start

Hi, got a problem. I press the power button on the pc and fans spin up etc, hard drive comes on but monitor doesnt come on and the hard drive light flashes once then nothing

It happened when i installed Norton AV. The PC froze straight after installing so i restarted and this problem started. Don't know if this install is related to the problem or not.

Hardware is as follows:
Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000 Pro-G
Inter P4 2.26Ghz
Samsung Spinpoint 160GB
SilentX 300W PSU
Radeon 9800Pro (Sapphire)
And other normal bits

Motherboard is about a week old and been running flawlesly since now

Any Help appreciated greatly

Have you tried resetting the Cmos?

I've now found out through putting the system into an old dell case and on a dell motherboard that its my 1 week old motherboard thats gone

Right old pain because amtrak took a week to deliver my next day parcel after about 10 phone calls to aktrak and head office and that the company i ordered from is OCUK

Only got back on the net 2 mins after they closed so i cant sort out a return tonight....pissed off right now
