    Heatsink + Fan for a 939 3200

Suggestions.... not water cooled because i just dont trust my self, so heat pipes, and Heatsink W/F are all welcome.

I simply want it to run my processor cool while at standard, and to hold out if i oc.

    Cheers

If you want an all in one - heatsink and fan, I'd recommend Akasa Evo33 (AK-913)

If you're willing to spend a bit more or would like to buy separate fan and have the room inside your machine,

then the thermalright xp-120 is probably the best

Yes, but make sure that it will fit your mobo - on quite a lot something will foul.
The XP-90 gives virtually as good performance whilst being compatible with a lot more boards.

    MSI P55-GD80, i5 750

yup, i got a xp-90 in my system with a 939 3200+ its coupled with a silentx fan, the processors overclocked to 2.5 ghz. Fan speed is controlled by my mobo, idles at 42 with the fan at reduced speed, and full load is about 52, with fan at normal speed. The fans pretty much silent for me whether at reduced or norma; speed anyway.

btw, these temps are without the side of my case on.

In case you're interested, you may want to take a look at the freezer 64 by Artic Cooling.
At load the CPU runs at about 33 and idles at about 29. Overall, I've managed to shave 5 degrees C off just by using the cooler. On top of that, it's a hell of a lot quieter than the stock AMD cooler. The fan is actually inaudible and that's it running at full pelt.
I know the xp-120 comes highly recommended from many folk but I only paid £12 for the freezer 64.
Just a possible alternative in case you are interested.

There's a link for you. I got the product on offer, but the price is still rather nice.

I'm using the stock cooler thats usually supplied with the FX-55 with the heatpipes on my 3500+.

its great as its rotates at less than 1000 rpm's when I turn on the automatic fan controller and talk about whisper quiet when sleeping, but the ASUS A8N likes to scream CPU fan fail, CPU fan fail when I bootup occasionally
