Hacked Hotmail Account

Someone seems to have hacked my dayghters hotmail account & changed the password. Now they seem to be going thro her contacts list making abusive comments & being lewd & offensive to her friends. Is there any way I can put a stop to this ASAP?

It's sad that people are lame enough to do such a thing.....

I know, going to be someone she knows. Was trying to find a contact @ MSN to report abuse/hacking to.

Dont mean to be rude, but sometimes its just a simple password or passing around your password that does this sorta thing.

I know She's only 13 & lives with her mum who's a bit of a net numptie. I do what I can.

Password's changed so can't check secret question.

I think what edavies means is - answer the secret question and use that to reset the password to whatever. Unless they've remembered to change the question as well you can reset the account without knowing the password

She was probably using a browser set to remeber password form entries, like an old version of IE at school then. The number of times I have been in cyber cafes all over the globe and could have accessed peoples email.

Only just tried it. MSN/Hotamil are blocked @ work. Thanx for your help tho chaps.
