    Angry GeForce 4 Ti problems

I have windows XP SP2 and Direct X 9.0C, when i have the latest drivers installed 77.72 it doesn't draw right, no texture fill. i went into dxdiag and run the tests. direct draw was fine however when i run the direct 3d tests the spinning box spun but it had no direct x logo on it.

I have also tried other drivers form about 42.00 up and they display nothing apart from a white screen.

I've run benchmarks and all come up with funny problems either no display whatsoever or funny boxes where either overlayed writing or extra images shound be.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi

Would it be possible for you to try the card in another machine? if the problem persists in another machine then i would be pretty sattisfied that it is a card issue rather than a driver/software problem.

Also do you have the application/benchmark 3Dmark 03 ? available from www.futuremark.com ? if not it might be a good idea to download this and see how your card performs in this test.

    Thanks

ive had it running in my linux computer perfectly for about a year now but the graphics card in the computer i'm currently on isn't very good GeForce 2 MX. This is why i decided to swap them. i had no problems with the graphics card i the other computer.

I have run 3dmark 2003 as my benchmarking and it just doesn't draw right. in the second test battle of proxicon when the camera looks out of the window its just white space with nothing in it. This is why i think its a software prob.

    Thanks for the help.

EDIT: ive now run 3dmark 2001 and 2000 and on each one the graphics are black and white and very blocky. i also cannot see the loading screens on either 2000, 2001 or 2003.

EDIT 2 : I have now run unreal tournament using the openGL engine and i have colour however the graphics and the colours are blocky.

EDIT 3 : I can send screenshots of 3dmark 2003 to anyone who would need them to know what the problem is.
