PC won't boot.
Help.
I've just bought 2GiB of corsair 3200cpt Ram, I installed the ram, which worked fine. But found that the ram was running at 3-3-3-8, I went to the BIOS to change the settings to 2-3-3-6 at 200 Mhz, the computer now refuses to boot. The fans, hard drive and everything comes on, but it wont post..so I can't see any thing on the screen. I've tried resetting the CMOS by taking the internal battery and ac adapter out for a few mins, but the comp still wont boot or post when i put them back.
Does any one have any ideas why it wont post??? Thank you...my computers driving me crazy

normal way:
Unplug AC cable.
Change the jumper for 10 secs (says either "Clear CMOS" or "Clear RTC")
Put the jumper back
Plug cable back in.
If this doesn't work you may have damaged the system somehow.
For Future Reference: Drop the timing to 2.5 first and see if it works.

Possible that something is loose
try resseting your bios after rebuilding. i have came across this same problem before. i found taking the power out of the equation plus, taking out the Graphics card, reseating it and then try to boot, if it doesn't try this process again cos it seems to work "sometimes"
What Graphics card do you have BTW???
If this works let me know the make of mobo aswell
