    Tft Wtf

Ok so i have a new TFT 19" and i have noticed there is quite a large white spot on the screen when i look down at it, i also notice it if im looking at pastel colours.

now when looking directly at it, its fine but as i said pastel colours make it noticeable.

is this a dead pixel problem or a contrast problem???
    Dude

All TFTs have a viewing angle, if you're looking down on it you're probably out of the viewing angle. Check the manual for the angle.

As for the contrast side of it, it sounds more like a gamma problem.

    What TFT do you have?

Isn't there like a range of different dead pixels you can have? Maybe you have a small cluster of them :/

there is a certain percentage of pixels aloud to be dead on your tft.

however, im tempted to agree that this is just a viewing angle type thing or maybe gamma settings.
