5.1 speakers

a newbie query about some creative 5.1 speakers on my pc...ive just got a dvd player with dolby 5.1 decoder...and i was thinking of using my pc speakers to try out on my dvd...but the inputs on the speakers are for 3 connections...and the dvd player has 6 outputs...so do i forget it or are there adaptors to solve it?

Each pair of phonos (output from the DVD) can be connected to each input on the speakers, 3.5MM, using a cable for a couple of pound from somewhere like Maplin.

Front Left/Right -> Front

Rear Left/Right -> Rear

Center and Bass -> Center
