Watermark/Background images on labels in Microsoft word?

OK, basicly I need to add a image behind some labels in Microsoft word, how do I do this?.

I can do colours, but not images.. I've tried adding all the images manually and setting the format to behind text but it gets all dodgy once it's behind the labels, so ya..

    Thanks

I believe most printers have it as a setting.

THough you may need to make a single image with lots of smaller ones in it

Just make in image the same size as a sheet of A4 with the same Grid on it.

Then in each of the boxes add the image to be placed in.

Also, have you tried placing the text into boxes, rather then just lines?

You shouldn't get any problems with images then

I'm REALLY confused on what you mean..

I want the image in EVERY label, not just one for all of them, one in each label.

The way it is set out in the screenshot is the way it needs to be for school.. thanks.

Where each label is use a text box.

Then put an image behind the text box set to through text.

Make a text box, put the image in , scale, make the text box borders invisible, set the image to watermark, right click textbox, arrange, send to back.

    Rinse and repeat

    2 things..

I can't seem to format the text box, so it just aligns itself with text,
and why is there a black border around the image?

    Thanks again.

You are putting the image in the textbox yes? Just the image, no text.

What version of word are you using?

If you have the same amount of labels on each sheet you can set the water mark by going view, header and footer, expand the header to cover the entire page, delete the footer, insert the images where you want them, goto the image properties (right click -> format picture) and change the colour setting from auto to washout, close the header and footer toolbar and then you will have your watermark, if you want to change it just go back into the header and footer settings and change it....

Hi, thanks for trying to help me..

How do I remove the footer?
How do I expand the header to the entire page?

Apart from those two questions, in my head I think I have a basic idea of what your trying to tell me and what the outcome will be, help for the above to questions would be apreicated... Thanks.

Dammit, cant delete the footer from my home PC, must be something theyve done to the templates at work....

You could simply expand both the headers and footers to cover the entire page, just go into the header and footer boxes and press enter until they meet each other, then add your pictures where you want them.

    Hope this helps
