I Have a Packard Bell with a ( GA-8siml mobo ), Because of the way that P.B. lock their hardware to the mobo via a Tattoo program that resides in the DMI, I am unable to install a new HD.
What I would like to Know is if I Flash the BIOS with gigabytes update will it also reset the code in the DMI that PB uses for its Tattoo program. So enabling me to get around this tattoo menace.
(My Mobo uses QFlash program for bios updates)
Any Help Please.
