OK, does anyone know if the re-branding of the Nedstat free webcounter company to Webstats4U has ended up with them inserting pop-ups on the site where the counter is used?

Because I've noticed that sometimes when i navigate to the main page of my (teamfishcake) site, I get a popup window coming up - something to do with itrack.it

I thoguht it was my PC at first, but a friend is getting the same thing on his.

Popup blockers are all very well, but

- not everyone has them
- for my computer, i want popups allowed on my site because i use them myself for PM notification

I've been using nedstat for nearly 5 years. I really don't want to have to stop using them, but i'll be damned if i'm having something on my site that creates popups.

OK, found out loads of other nedstat using sites are getting it. Looks like it is webstats4u. Nice.

So I won't be using them any longer :-/
