    Question Internet Usage monitor

Hi all, just a quick request, was wondering if anyone was aware of any software, ideally small and fast (freeware) that I could use to monitor my data transfer over my broadband connection, I’d like to get a idea and see if my usage is heavy or medium as I have a feeling Pipex may be "managing" my connection

I've always used 'Bandwidth Monitor Pro', though I'm not sure if its freeware these days.

If your modem/roter supports snmp, then it may be possible to get the stats from it. Try a Google search using terms "bandwidth usage" snmp ADSL or something similar

Here is a link for bandwidth useage tools: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Network...ndwidth-Tools/

Netmeter is a tool i have used and shows daily useage, weekly useage and also projected totals. These values will be a little lower than actual values if you have a hardware router/firewall due to keepalive packets but this is minimal.

The pitfalls of deleting all posts by a spammer means you're often left with a post that makes no sense.

    I'm a victim, but you're welcome anyway
