I was just wondering if this was possible? I got everything turned up, including all the related parts on my nvmixer sound panel, headphones to the max, still a bit quiet? Well its loud, but I want it a bit louder tbh :devilish:

you've probably reached the limit of the soundcard to provice any more power to those speakers.
What speakers have you got? If your serious about wanting more volume do what I did :) - buy a Panasonic 600w 5.1 Set, complete with 5 DVD changer, and hook it up via the optical out on your sound card. Voila no more peace & quiet :D

I notice you said headphones well you can get dedicated headphone amps used to have one sounded great do a search on google you'll find loads even plans to make your own if you like a bit of soldering.

Get some decent headphones? I always make sure that any earphones or headphones I buy can manage a good level decibel level before buying...
You mentioned a headphone volume control. On some of the cheaper headphones the presence of a volume control seems almost guaranteed to reduce the volume, like on the cheap ones they can't manage to make sure the variable resistor doesn't always reduce the output significantly.
Some on-board sound cards can have fairly weak outputs, too...
I got a Sennheiser PC130 headset, fairly high quality stuff but absolutely no where near the top things. I am not really an audiophile, I am happy with the clarity of audio etc I have now, so I don't really think I would buy new headphones, but a headphone amp sounds good :D I have the Creative Inspire 6600s too, which are very loud for my house so speakers aren't a prob :D
