Did you totaly rip out all the additional USB / firewire connections then ?
i pulled out the ones I'd wired to the front of the case. I left the ones that attach to the ports you stick on the back of the case with the PCI bracket thingy as they have one large connector which only fits one way onto the header. I suspect I may have wired the ones on the front incorrectly as they use a little bunch of single pin connectors which have to be attached individually and the terminology on the connectors (cheap case) doesn't match that used in the manual for the board.
I'm still not liking the board as it didn't like the Elixir RAM we bought for the machine altho that RAM tests fine in my PC it had big time errors in the AN8 ultra machine. Gonna have to play with the timings a bit to see if I can stabilise it. I *hate* picky motherboards as of now

Digging up a thread from the past... yay, my board did this to me this morning. HEXUS was the first place I found useful info on it, huzzah!
Still, I've yet to find out if it's any particular USB device causing the issue, or if my USB ports are just flaking out. Voltages from my Tagan are rock solid so it ain't power delivery to the mobo.
Got too much work on to troubleshoot at the moment, especially as I got the system booted, so I'll report back on my personal findings when I can be bothered to sort it out properly.
