    Question Bluetooth conectivity

    Hi there,

I don't know much about bluetooth other than I was told it is cool and flexible! I do a lot of phone call with skype and VoIP software. I am using a wired headset but I start to be annoyed with the wired bit.

How can I have a wireless headset connected to my PC. I haven't found any specially designed for that. If anyone has any idea, I will be happy to hear. I was personaly thinking of buying a cheap USB bluetooth adapter for my PC and then connect a cheap bluetooth headset to it. (Why cheap you ask, that is because I have already bought all my christmas present! ). Should this work? any advice?

    Merry Christmas to everyone,

    Emmanuel

If there are bluetooth compatible skye phones then there's no reason why it wouldn't work.

I use the d-link dbt-120 and it 'just works', i plugged it in and paired my device, highly recommend it if you're looking to buy a usb-bluetooth-dongle.

a bluetooth dongle and headset should work. You can set the headset and the windows primary soundcard device thingy and all sound will go through that.
Did it with my friends phone so all music played came out his phone...

    Smile Thank you

Thank you very much for your advice, I have bought a USB bluetooth adapter and a bluetooth earpiece and it works like a charm. Despite the shop assistant at a certain very famous phone store and his manager assuring me that it can only work with a phone. It is good to know that the high street provide such helpful support!

Thankfully I can rely on people at hexus who know what they are talking about!

    Happy new year to everyone,

    Emmanuel
