How long does a onlinescan take?

Hi i have had some security probs of late and i scanned my pc with Trend housecall and the finish time is fluctuating between 3-5.30 hrs Now i am sure previous scans took only 30/40mins max! Any ideas why Is it a hacking?

PS I have just scanned with spybot which came clean...But i noticed 4 new WNSOCK LSP'S all of them without the GREEN CONFIRMATION TICK! Any clues what this means & how to correct this?

Funny - just been running housecall on a friend's computer - it hung after about 30 minutes using the browser plug-in kernel. Just trying t again - if that doesn't work, I'll try the Java environment...
