Just use the Abit Flashmenu software with the Guru stuff and it'll update automatically. It should still however recognise it straight out the box.

    Is it a 144?

    Did it?
That's the first that I've heard of Abit officially mentioning support for Opterons (although we knew that they ran fine).
    http://www.abit.com.tw/cpu_support/amd-athlonX2-t.htm still doesn't mention Opterons.

    Abit AN8-SLi
    Asus A8N-SLi

Its easy to do a typo, but opterons should work in either.
(Mine worked straight away also-Abit AN8-SLi)
