    overclocking query??

    when i take my opteron 144 from 1.8 to above two windows frezzes on bot and then unless im lucky and when i restart in boots i have the problem and i have to like reinstall all of windows???
    i can take it to 2 gig fine but no more i have an asus a8n sli and corsair xms 3200 ram i gig wondering why it does this and what i can do to cure it as i would like the chip at at least like 2.2-2.4 othewrwise its not the bargain i thought lol thnaks

    Probably your RAM.
    Have you tried running the 333 divider/ratio?

    Or have you loosened the RAM timings or done any testing as regards how far you can push the RAM and CPU???

    i dopnt knowas soon as i gvet to 230 htthen fsb is like 1000 dunno wat to do it crahses s much at that speed to may just get rid of it

    Stick the ram on a divider, the htt to 3x and increase the cpu voltage
