Major spyware/virus problem

are you running any kind of firewall? i had to fix a similar spyware problem on someones machine doing the same as yours

Iam running the windows firewall, and my router has a firewall.

Still got it installed now, 3 days.

Well most of my programs don't find anything.

Spyware doctor finds stuff, and gets rid of it, but it keep coming up. The system try, with the anoying text crap.

Also spyware strike installs.

I have no idea what to do, so im just gonna format.

I'm betting you got this through the meta file exploit. Try visiting fewer suspect websites/porn imho

I formatted, it needed it anyways, i don't have anything i need saving anyways, so it was the easy way.

I have an Audigy 1 sound card, the oginal one. What drivers do you install for this? Ive always used the one's of the CD, which are like 5 years old, then updated with the fixes of creative. There is that new driver, as well that u need for quake 4, shud i just install that? the Openal.
