    Is any help available?

Presumably this site is at least monitored by a 'techie' from Mesh or are we all left to our own devices?

I have a new Mesh compute delivered this week (SO_6563). (message is now a week old)
I noticed today that the system was slow after start-up and found that a file CLMLService.exe was running and ‘grabbing’ 99% of the CPU time. I terminated it and the system retuned to normal.
This appears to be part of Cyberlink software and associated to the DVD drive. What exactly is it’s purpose please?

Also, (second request for help not answered) My Logitech keyvboard and mouse do not work. The special buttons on the keyboard are inopperative and the mouse queaks at each press of the left button. Due to the failed resonse I have had to dismantle the mouse and lubricate the friction surfaces with petrolium jelly. However this is NOT a suiatble solution for new equipment and I expect a replacement. In view of the fact that neither live up to their advertised description I think that a replacement Microsoft keyboard and mouse would be the best solution.

Some malware stuff uses CLMLService.exe to disguise its self, look in your windows directory, and windows\system32 directories, if the file is in there then you have an issue. Id reccomend running somehting like Ad-aware or Spybot as well as your usual Anti virus software.

What are you trying to use the extra buttons on the keyboard in? If its winamp you need to enable global hotkeys in the preferences.

Have you got the drivers installed? the buttons wont do anything till then.

Also, this is just the general help forum, the mesh forum is: http://forums.hexus.net/forumdisplay.php?f=104

Probably someone will move this there.

Thanks for that. I'm fast loosing faith with Mesh. They clearly don't want to know you after you've paid your money.

Yep, i get that impression too (from reading the support forum) Although Davey (the guy who runs it) seems decent enough, the rest of mesh support seem to be unable to tell backsides from elbows.

    Anyway logitech setpoint (for keyboard):

Thanks again for all that. Mesh could learn a lot from you!
