    Corrupt File Help

As I explained in my other thread, I formatted the wrong partition by mistake and lost a load of files. I found a program to recover them but when I try to open any of them, they are all corrupt.

I've found a few mp3s which open, and they all contain different parts of different mp3s. I think that the recovery program got confused and has put the data into the wrong places. Is there any way to fix this?

    Thanks

What program did you use? Did you already try something like the "Ultimate Boot CD", that has a couple of recovery programs on there - one of which, Active@ Partition Recovery is quite good apparently.

If you've already overwritten the data on your drive using the recovery program, I don't think that there is an easy way to restore it.
