Gallery2 help!

How can I upload images via FTP for Gallery2? I found the directory where they are stored, but I keep getting permission errors and don't know why...

What's the permissions set to on the folder?

755, and it won't let me change it to anything else either.

Well that's what I was thinking, but tried to change it to 777 anyway... but it seems to just deny me to upload or delete.

I'd suggest re-checking on http://gallery.menalto.com/ - as their site is pretty good for most problems ...
