I've got a Silverstone 30NF PSU but it has a 20pin ATX power connector (with separate) 4pin power connector.
Unfortunately, my motherboard (Asus A8N Premium) has a 24 pins ATX connecot (plus 4 pin connector near the CPU).
Does this mean my PSU is incompatible or can I get away with using some sort of adaptor? If an adaptor is possible, where can I get one from?

Your separate 4-pin is intended to run to a separate connector on your motherboard (it was there originally for P4 motherboards). You need a 20-24 pin ATX adapter like the one listed at Scan.
That said, I don't know how much power you're going to need for your rig. 300W seems a bit low for an A64 rig.

I would say you should be able to get away with that... depending on the specific PSU. I would recommend not using an adaptor. If it is splitting the voltages (as I think adaptors do) of a PSU with a 12V rail that's low already you could run into problems.
That said, could you tell us what, specifically you're running so we can advise whether 300W should be enough?
