Graphics card problem

My friend was trying to install a game but it was coming up with a error message when he tried to play so he gave me a call.

I was trying to find out what GPU he has but for some reason display adapters is not showing in device manager and it says not detected when belarc advisor is used.

and it does have onboard graphics as well so mabe this is causing a conflict, however it has been fine before.

What make/model of graphics card is he using? Might be worth reinstalling/updating the drivers..

iirc it is an ati 9200 ish (bad i know but afaik it good enough for this game aon minimum), ill get the latest catalyst.

You should also make sure that the motherboard chipset drivers are installed.

You could also try disabling the on-board GFX in BIOS (provided it permits this).
