ATI control panel query

Hi, Apologies if this is the wrong forum and this should have gone in the ATI one.

My problem is when I try to access the ATI control panel it tells me I have insufficient privalages and should contact my system administrator.

The account I've logged on at (on the PC, no domain involved) is the administrator account. However I had previously gone over the services on that PC and disabled some and set some to manual i.e. help and support and seconday logon etc. Before I did this the control panel did work but it was a while ago. I've not had any other permission problems with other applications. I could reinstall the ATI control panel or go revert all the services to there default state but its quicker to post the question here first .

Is there a service that has to be specifically enabled or started to gain access to the ATI control panel? Is it dependant on any one service or services apart from the ATI specific services? Am I barking up the wrong tree or made a schoolboy error?

Hmmm well not knowing what you switch off but are you using Catalyst Control Centre as this uses the Microsoft .NET framework (much to my disapproval). If there's anything ATI related in the services list then enable that (can't check here as i'm using an nvidia system right now) too.

Dot Net itself is enabled and is upto date and theres only one ATI specific service which is on.
