Whenever i press my shortcut for hexus ive recently noticed it takes longer than any other site i visit . In the toolbar in the bottom left of my screen it says "transferring data from google analytics"
its only this site it does it with. Why is this ?
It is just a service that track (useful) information about number of hits / visitors and what page they visit the most, and even where they come from.
Technically they could do the same by using the server log but why bother to do it yourself when you only need to a couple lines of code and let google (or any other companies) do the data analysis.
It doesn't affect you in anyway except the slower page load...

Its also for large sites too - Google Analystics don't track all sites....
