    Y wont it let me overclock!?!?!!?

    hi, im overclock my 3200 venice in bios. by chnaging the Frequency and multiplier, but once i enter windows, after about 30 seconds the frequency goes down. it seems as if there is somehting telling ti to do it. any ideas, this si sooo fustrating as u can imagin.

    What speed does it clock itself down to? Just stock?
    Run CPU-z and Prime 95 - does the workload raise the clock speed back up again?

    it seems ok now, i took it up to 2.55 but windows wouldnt load so dropped the frequency to 250 and it seem ok, now it seems that my FPS in counterstrike is is 130 when it was 150 before

    hasnt updated mate, freind of his and he has ecently switched so that he could overclock, seems odd as i have almost same spec with half the am and get my 144 to 2.7 stable with ram at 266

    sorry guys, havent checked for few days, i have a asus SLI delux, it just doesnt wanna over clock past about 2.3. tried everything, and when i do overclock my Framerate gets worse :S
